The Australia Zoo Crew had a very successful month this year in the North Kennedy River. The team, together with QPWS Rangers and Scientists from the University of Queensland, caught and tracked 49 Saltwater Crocodiles in August. Once collected, the data gathered from our highly advanced trackers and loggers is taken back to the University of Queensland for interpretation.

Our Scientists will be on information overload, as the data we have collected is so exciting and helps everyone to better understand and respect these magnificent animals. Such an ideal, picturesque location for Croc One to be moored in, she really does love it up here!

The mighty 'Kennedy' was a handful but the Croc Team had him under control.   Back in the water, Kennedy's tracker is sitting perfectly.

This Black Whip snake crossed Briano's path and he just had to get a closer look.
