All hands on deck! Croc One is being loaded, packed, geared up and prepped for a 6 month mission. She is heading for Cape York Peninsula – the piece of Queensland in Australia that spears up towards New Guinea. We’ve got to gear her up to meet me and the family on Lady Elliot Island. Then she will head onto Gladstone for fuel, make her way to the Swains, and stop at Cairns for fuel and food. Croc One will then steam up to Lakefield National Park to catch crocodiles for the whole month of August. Then she is headed around the Cape to Weipa where she’ll do charters until the end of the year. Croc One can handle 40 tonne of gear and still steam like the blazes. Everyone is so excited!
